HYNCA Board Elections

It that time of year again when we elect board members for the Historic Ybor Neighborhood Civic Association.  The term will be from June 23, 2011 through May 30, 2012.

A total of nine (9) board members will be elected by HYNCA members at our Thursday, June 23, 2011 General Meeting at the Hampton Inn.  HYNCA board members will then choose a President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer at a separate board meeting.

As a HYNCA board member you will have an opportunity to be intimately involved with the redevelopment of Ybor City and have your say on issues related to our neighborhood.  You will represent the interests of HYNCA and the residents of Ybor City when needed (at City Council meetings, CRA meetings, YCDC meetings, through letters to elected officials, interviews with media, etc.).  You will also have an opportunity to help plan special events throughout the year.

Your total time commitment will be 1 to 3 hours per month.
