Florida Brewer’s Guild and Tampa
Bay Brewing Company will be hosting their Ybor City Beer Fest between 2:00 p.m.
and 6:00 p.m. at Tampa Bay Brewing
Company
.  Beer judges will announce
the winners for the Best Florida Beer Championships and the Annual John G. Doble
Brewers Scholarship Award.

10:00 am to 6:00 pm.  Fiesta Day is Ybor
City’s official day of rest and celebration of its magnificent ethnic heritage

International Parade of Flags marches down Historic 7th Avenue
showcasing musical rhythm, ethnic dress and vibrant colors as a beautiful
tribute to the cultures it represents. Fiesta Day hosts an Arts Marketplace,
Ethnic Foods, and Multicultural Exhibits and Entertainment.  Florida Dairy Farmers brings us Children’s

The Ybor City Museum will be
hosting Tampa Y Cuba: The 500 Year Connection
beginning at 10:00 a.m.  This exhibit explores the historic
connections between the Tampa Bay Area and the Island of Cuba.  The exhibit will offer live Cuban music,
local Cuban artists, Cuban cooking demonstrations, and a round table discussion
about Cuban culture in Tampa beginning at 10:30 a.m.  Don’t miss this entertaining and educational
exhibit.

Sant’ Yago Illuminated Knight Parade

SANT’ YAGO ILLUMINATED KNIGHT PARADE SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2007 The annual Krewe of the Knights Sant’ Yago Illuminated Knight Parade will take place on Saturday evening, February 10th with a new parade route. The parade will begin in Channelside and end in Ybor City via Nick Nuccio Parkway and 7th Avenue. The parade will begin at 6:30 pm at Channelside Drive and Beneficial, travel North on Channelside Drive crossing Adamo/Route 60, making its way North to Nick Nuccio Parkway, it will proceed on Nick Nuccio Parkway to 7th Avenue where it turns and moves East down 7th Avenue to 22nd Street.

To prepare for the event, the following Ybor street closures will take place approximately at:

  • 2:00pm: 7th Avenue between Nick Nuccio Parkway and 21st Streets including cross streets from 6th to 8th Aves. 8th Avenue will remain open.
  • 5:30pm: Nick Nuccio Parkway between Nebraska and Palm Avenues
  • 5:30pm: Adamo Drive at Channelside Drive
  • 6:30pm: 21st & 22nd Streets at 7th Avenue

All meters within the closure are will be bagged but there will be allowances for deliveries. Set-up of the bleachers and the vendors will take place beginning at 10:00 am, but 7th Avenue WILL NOT BE CLOSED until 2:00 pm. Vendors are permitted to open between the hours of 2:00 pm and 3:00 am. Breakdown of the event will begin promptly at 3:00 am and be completed as quickly as possible. All property owners are responsible for securing their properties for this special event. The City is not responsible for damages that may result to private property. The TECO Line Streetcar will continue to operate throughout the duration of the day and the parade.
