The City is still researching possible solutions to implementing the Ybor City permit distribution system. Per the latest update:

While I-Parq Intelligent Parking Systems offered one option for permit management, the Parking Division has identified several customer service issues that obligate us to explore other permit management options. We have identified at least three other permit management vendors that offer a variety of on-line services that may better suite our needs. Once a vendor has been selected, we will move to award the service contract and implement the new permit management program by the next permit renewal date of July 15, 2007. Until such time, we will continue to manage the permit distribution program through the clerical office located on the 16th Avenue side of the Centro Ybor Parking Garage. (Ph. 242-5483)

The first HYNCA meeting of 2007 will be held Monday Jan. 22, 2007, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m at West Palm Wines/Beaune’s (2002 North 22nd Street at the corner of 9th Avenue and 22nd Street).
 
Major Bob Guidera from the Tampa Police Department will be on hand to answer questions you might have regarding the efforts of law enforcement in Ybor City.
 
Beaune’s will provide FREE wine and cheese for our members!  At the request of West Palm Wines management we will take up a collection for a charity of our choosing during the meeting. 
 
Please attend the Jan. 22 meeting. It will be a great way to connect to the community, discover a treasure of the Ybor City business community, and give back to the community.
