YCDC 2007 Goals
The YCDC has established some budget goals for the year for both of our Community Redevelopment Areas. Our community (and especially HYNCA) provided much of the input for the list. It goes to show how important it is to become involved! These items will be considered in the budget:
Ybor CRA 1:
- Initiate a retail incentive program
- Pursue an east side parking garage
- Develop a long-term parking strategy
- Restore brick streets and/or install brick pedestrian crosswalks
- Strengthen panhandling ordinance
- Install LED lighting to 7th Avenue archway lights
Ybor CRA 2
- Implement residential streetlighting program
- Increase anti-crime enforcement
- Restore brick streets and/or install brick pedestrian crosswalks
- Engineer and implement alley standardization program
- Strengthen panhandling ordinance
- Implement a historic facade improvement program
