Ybor City Arts Fiesta
Tampa, Florida - May 2, 2007 - Ybor
City Arts Fiesta
returns May 5th and
6th to Historic Ybor
City. The annual show was
established over fifteen years ago in
the area between 8th and 9th Avenue from 13th
to 15th Street. Over time,
this event grew to include three seasonal shows with a heavier concentration on
arts & crafts, moving its location to beautiful and spacious Centennial
Park.
For
the past year, CC Event Productions, Inc. has concentrated on returning these seasonal shows to their
original site, including greater
focus on fine art and less in the area of arts and crafts. One of the initial steps in this
transformation process was addition of a jury process and prizes awarded in an effort to encourage participation by
a wider variety of quality artists.
The next step in the
transformation is the actual return of the show to its original site near
Historic Ybor
Square.
We encourage both artists and
spectators to support the Historic District by visiting the show this weekend in
its new location, taking the time to enjoy the fabulous shopping, dining and
entertainment that Ybor City has to offer!
The
Ybor City Arts Fiesta continues to provide enjoyment for the entire family. This weekend, Tampa Bay Parenting Magazine joins us in
offering hands-on-activities for
children of all ages! The show also
coincides with Hillsborough Community College’s display of student, faculty, and alumni
art located in Centro Ybor.

Ybor City Arts Fiesta is presented
